Welcome to the Centre for Pre-University Studies (CPU)

MAHSA International College-Penang (MICP). The centre is dedicated to preparing students for the transition from secondary education to university-level learning through well-structured foundation programmes.

Through our academic collaboration with MAHSA University, CPU provides a supportive learning environment that helps students develop the knowledge, discipline, and confidence required for undergraduate studies. Our programmes aim to build a strong academic foundation and guide students towards successful progression into their chosen degree pathways.

Centre for Pre-University Studies (CPU) Overview

The Centre for Pre-University Studies (CPU) at Penang International Dental College offers two programmes: Foundation in Science (FIS) and Foundation in Arts (FIA) in collaboration with MAHSA University. These programmes prepare students for entry into undergraduate degree programmes by providing academic preparation comparable to STPM, A-Level, or other equivalent pre-university qualifications.

Upon successful completion of the foundation programme, students may continue their undergraduate studies at MAHSA University in programmes such as MBBS, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Physiotherapy, Medical Imaging, and other related degree programmes.

Dentistry is a unique progression pathway within the collaboration, where students experience a dual-campus learning model. Students will undertake Year 1 and Year 2 at MAHSA University College, followed by Year 3 to Year 5 at Penang International Dental College (PIDC), providing valuable exposure to both academic environments.
