Advanced Continuing Education (ACE)
The Advanced Continuing Education (ACE) Unit at MAHSA International College, Penang- is dedicated to empowering dental and healthcare professionals through high-quality skills training, hands-on workshops, and specialised short courses. ACE focuses on delivering practical, industry-relevant learning experiences designed to enhance clinical competencies and professional growth.
Our programs include both dental and allied health training opportunities, from upskilling short courses to specialised workshops for skill enhancement. Since its inception in 2023, ACE has successfully conducted implantology programs, fixed prosthodontic masterclasses in collaboration with I&V Global Dental Academy, India, and supported the completion of the Dental Clinical Assistant training (first cohort graduated in July 2025).
By bringing together expert faculty, state-of-the-art facilities, and a commitment to lifelong learning, ACE ensures participants gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills to excel in their practice and keep pace with evolving industry standards

Clinical Mastership in Complete Implant Prosthodontics
This event is a clinical training program led by Dr. Komal Majumdar, focused on advanced practice in complete implant prosthodontics. It targets dental professionals who want to improve skills in planning, placement, and restoration of full-arch implant cases.
The program runs from 10 to 12 April 2026 in Penang and is hosted by Penang International Dental College. It offers hands-on clinical insights, case-based learning, and practical techniques relevant to modern implant dentistry.
Participants gain exposure to real clinical workflows, decision-making processes, and current best practices in implant-supported prosthetic rehabilitation.

Conducted by Dr. Aniza Ahmad and Dr. Manori Jayasinghe, Associate Professors from the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry, the workshop covers tooth preparation, impression techniques, and temporization through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on sessions.

The Art of Manuscript Writing & Clinical Pitfalls in the Diagnosis of Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders : Research Talk organized by the Penang International Dental College on Wednesday, 11 March 2026, with the objective of enhancing knowledge in research and clinical dentistry. The session features Prof. Ruwan D. Jayasinghe, Chair Professor of Oral Medicine and Periodontology from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, who will present two informative sessions: a research talk titled “The Art of Manuscript Writing,” which aims to guide researchers and academics in the preparation and publication of scientific manuscripts, followed by a guest lecture titled “Clinical Pitfalls in the Diagnosis of Oral Potentially Malignant Disorders,” which emphasizes significant clinical considerations and challenges in diagnosing oral conditions that may lead to malignancy. The event was held at Lecture Hall 3, Level 19, Penang International Dental College, and also provided CPD points for attendees.

This hands-on workshop on Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT), scheduled for the morning of Friday, 6th March 2026, is specifically designed for dental students, gap year dentists, and early career practitioners. The training promises an engaging and concise session focused on building confidence in reading, interpreting, and manipulating 3D images using actual clinical cases and complete software, with computers provided for participants. Led by Associate Professor Dr. Lahari Telang, the goal is to provide a comprehensive yet easy-to-understand foundation that helps integrate CBCT into routine practice, ultimately boosting radiology skills for enhanced patient care
